- Can you tell us how the company started and what its mission is?
Mrs. Potter’s originates from the 19th century, inspired by Mrs. Potter, a British herbalist who believed in the power of plants to care for the skin and hair. Drawing on ancestral botanical knowledge, she developed gentle yet effective preparations, including a mild herbal decoction that laid the foundation for the brand’s first shampoo.
Today, Mrs. Potter’s carries this heritage forward through dermocosmetic formulas that combine plant-based active ingredients with modern scientific expertise. Our mission is to unite nature and science to deliver clean, effective and respectful care, in line with our commitment to vegan formulas, free from silicones and sulfates.
- How did you choose to integrate your philosophy into the packaging of your products?
Our packaging is a direct expression of Mrs. Potter’s identity. The vintage, mushroom-shaped cap echoes the brand’s heritage, while its clean and functional design reflects our modern approach to care.
For our haircare range, packaging highlights our clean and vegan formulas and is designed to enhance both precision and sensoriality. The bottles are recyclable and made with recycled materials, and the black cap is detectable on sorting lines (NIR), supporting our responsible approach.
- As for the GIFLOR cap, what role does it play in the line?
For our shampoo and conditioner, we chose Giflor’s mushroom-shaped cap for its precision and ease of use. It allows controlled application and even distribution, supporting an effective scalp and haircare routine while reinforcing the brand’s visual DNA.
- What message would you like to share about your collaboration with Giflor?
Our collaboration with Giflor is based on trust and alignment of values. Choosing Giflor’s cap allowed us to combine functionality, recyclability and aesthetic coherence, ensuring that the packaging fully supports both the formula and the Mrs. Potter’s brand universe.
